The MyNORS

The MyNORS are a Connecticut hip hop duo consisting of emcee MJ and emcee/producer DP. Since the early 2000's both artists have been respectively making music together but it took til 2009 for them to decide to officially form a group. Their first single titled "Neck Of The Woods" featured Boston's own Reks on DP's DJ Premier sounding beat and garnered them buzz on a number of hip hop websites and blogs. Their next single "Make It By" featuring Chaundon only increased their mark in hip hop.

Next came their official single and music video for "What They Don't Know" which set the tone for their debut mixtape "Black Lung". The beat by DP sampled Alicia Keys' "Love Is Blind" record and the incredible rhyming made the track a hit on the college radio scene making it up to the number 2 spot on th etop 40 hip hop singles and lasted 10 weeks on the charts. The video also had over 10,000 views in its first few weeks. 

With the debut of their mixtape "Black Lung" The MyNORS managed to successfully garner over 8,000 downloads which is very impressive for newcomers. Surely these two are on the come up and seem to get bigger with every release.
